Thanks. I just bought one and wondered how big it will get. I hoped it would get bigger than 12' as we've placed it along the front of the yard for privacy, but I look forward to the fruit! We may decide to get something taller as well.

Thanks Marilyn! Here's a website that offers many more ideas http://whatscookingamerica.net/EdibleFlowers/EdibleFlowersMain.htm and I also find Jekka's Complete Herb Book, by Jekka McVicar, to be an excellent source for edible flowers and plants.

Thanks for all the good ideas. You just added quite a few new edible plants to my list for me to try this summer. I wasn't aware you could eat lilac flowers, cornflower petals or peony petals. Can't wait to try them.

Wow, the stevia is great in tea! I crushed the leaves finely with a mortar and pestle and put a tsp. in my tea and it was quite sweet. Next time I'll try to steep them and see if it's as sweet.

Have you tried your Stevia in some teas yet? Just wondering how it tastes in comparison to the store bought liquid extracts/powders, which can be a bit bitter. How much do you need for one tea; is one leaf too sweet?
